Introducing Randomized Lobby Names

Hi Crewmates,

Public lobby names are now randomized! This only affects the outward appearance, so you’ll likely see that many names look something like this now:

Fun fact: the lobby names are a mixture of Among Us terminology, some dev Easter Eggs, and other Crewmate-like things.

This is not the only thing we’re working on! We’ve heard you thoughts on wanting more filtering and matchmaking, which is something we are actively building. In an effort to create safer environments for all of our players, we are continually updating and improving the game, matchmaking, moderation, and reporting. The goal is to have numerous systems go hand in hand to make Among Us a safer space.

We are constantly listening to feedback and concerns. Thank you for always being patient with us while we work hard to ensure that we can make Among Us as safe as possible for everyone who plays, while also allowing you to experience the game you love! If you see any bad actors, please report them to us in-game so that we can issue relevant bans and sanctions.
